There is Nothing here

Played this game as a part of my 3 scary games video!  I liked the idea and concept for this horror game!  I managed to get scared a few times while playing! 

Its a fun short horror game, the monsters spooked me a couple times, but overall not bad. I liked the setting and others things happening....

I didn't expect it to be that short ;)

(It was amazing. I almost quit at the beginning, then... Yeah. This game's dev is a 200 IQ person.)

Advantages: 

1. The game was so spooky! It's cool that it was able to scare me so much with subtle stuff and changes in ambiance. Very well done!

2. I really liked the humor of "nothing being there". I think the mixture of horror and comedy turned out to be ideal, at least in my opinion. I really really enjoyed that!

Disadvantages:

1. There was nothing there. Honestly, I wish there would be a way to open this suspicious door that had something there. Is there a way? Maybe I was just too stupid to find it.

2. The ending is sooo anticlimactic! I wish there would be more to that! And also after such a great ambiance and tension-building, the jumpscare seemed to be even cheaper :(

Overall:

This game deserves the best rating possible! 5 somethings / 5 somethings. Tho, there was nothing really there, so I don't even know what I am reviewing at the moment...

What a great game about nothing!

This was actually really good at least to me. I thought it was funny as hell when it ended 10/10. I actually liked it so much I put it in a video if that's alright. It's the first of three games I played. I hope you make more stuff in the future, Good Luck!

Great game. really got the ambient feeling of horror games down packed. and much to my surprise there was really nothing there. (to those reading this you can check out the video if you'd like. maybe subscribe if you feel like I'm not forcing you I'm just here showing my support to the game)

When the words changed on the menu screen I just closed it right away.

Freaaaky.. and super creative. I love how it kept going. Messed with my mind haha.

How do I lower the sensitivity ?

I really thought there was nothing here. And I think there's still nothing, haha!

I don't like being lied to lol, great pacing and twist. But there really is "nothing" there.

There is Nothing Here is a strong example of how smart design and talent can surpass a lot of engine limitations and skip the indie horror speed bump that most games hit. While not groundbreaking graphically the minimalist style used blends really well into the pacing and atmosphere. There’s not much else to say really, I wouldn’t even suggest adding more content as I think it ends just about where the concept gets old allowing for a solid 10-minute experience. Games like this make slogging through the horror tag worth it. As usual I'm going to link my playthrough below but I highly suggest that you experience it for yourself, spoiler free. 

This is a great game concept and hope to see more.

Oh, I enjoyed this one, some really cool ideas that worked very well, ya know, despite the fact that there was nothing there and all. The ending was a tiny bit abrupt and sometimes more room to breathe between ideas is better for atmosphere but I think those are all things you can and probably will work out with your next developments. All in all this was fun and spooky. 

Will there be update to this game?

Good game. Short, but a great experience. 

If there was actually something here, like a game or something, I would say that it was a fun experience and definitely gave me a couple good scares. But there's nothing here, so.... yeah.

I see what you did there! Not to worry...I'll keep it a secret. I loved the setup and execution of the game. Eh, I know I promised to wait until nighttime to play it, but I couldn't take it, I had to play through it anyhow. Great job overall!

Wheeeew... I don't think my heart could withstand much more! Really really cool horror game, and I loved the meta touch. The non-euclidean rooms, and rest of the horror was classic in the execution but it was very well crafted. I really enjoyed this!
